| |  | | Your local BBC radio station is here for you | | | Keeping communities connected in these challenging times, local BBC radio stations across England are now broadcasting ‘Make a Difference’ updates every 30 minutes from 6am-6pm 7 days a week.
Bringing together those in need of help with local volunteers and organisations, more than 150,000 people have contacted their local BBC radio station since the scheme was launched less than two weeks ago.
It’s already helped get essential items to a terminal ill father of three, find a lift to work for an NHS worker whose car had broken down and stopped a man from getting evicted from his home.
